Ingredients:
- 1 package of instant gnocchi mix
- 1 medium-sized pear, peeled and diced
- 100g gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions until they float to the top, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced pear and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add the gorgonzola cheese to the skillet and stir until melted and combined with the pear.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and stir gently to coat in the sauce.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the gnocchi and sauce, and stir gently to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Gnocchi con gorgonzola e pera hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
