"Gnocchi alla Vodka Sauce"

  • 1 package of instant mix gnocchi
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of vodka
  • 1/4 cup of tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, chopped for garnish


  1. Prepare the instant mix gnocchi according to the package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and vodka. Stir in the tomato paste and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  4. Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve the gnocchi alla vodka in bowls, garnished with chopped fresh basil. Enjoy!
